WaveCraft

About the Loudness Normalizer

Streaming services turn loud songs down and quiet ones up. Normalizing to their target (measured in LUFS) means your track plays exactly as you mixed it.

How to use it

  1. Drop an audio file (MP3, WAV, M4A, OGG, FLAC) or a video into the box.
  2. Pick a preset or adjust the controls — target platform and peak ceiling. Hit play to hear it live and use “Compare” to hear the original.
  3. Download as MP3 or WAV. Nothing is uploaded: the processing runs on your device.

Questions

What is LUFS?

Loudness Units relative to Full Scale — a measure of perceived loudness (ITU-R BS.1770) used by all major platforms.

Is the export exact?

Yes. On export the whole file is measured and corrected exactly, then a true-peak limiter keeps peaks under the ceiling.

Is WaveCraft free?

Yes. Every tool is free with no sign-up, no watermark and no file limits.

Are my files uploaded?

No. All processing happens in your browser on your own device, so your audio never leaves your computer or phone.
