About the Pitch Shifter
Shift the key up or down for singing practice, covers or remixes. The tempo stays exactly the same.
How to use it
- Drop an audio file (MP3, WAV, M4A, OGG, FLAC) or a video into the box.
- Pick a preset or adjust the controls — semitones (and cents in Pro mode). Hit play to hear it live and use “Compare” to hear the original.
- Download as MP3 or WAV. Nothing is uploaded: the processing runs on your device.
Questions
Does the length change?
No. WaveCraft time-stretches and resamples so the duration is preserved.
How far can I shift?
One octave up or down. Small shifts (±3 semitones) sound the most natural.
Is WaveCraft free?
Yes. Every tool is free with no sign-up, no watermark and no file limits.
Are my files uploaded?
No. All processing happens in your browser on your own device, so your audio never leaves your computer or phone.
