About the Noise Reducer
Spectral noise reduction learns what your background noise sounds like and removes it while keeping the voice. In Pro mode you can select a noise-only part of the waveform to teach it exactly.
How to use it
- Drop your recording. Ideally it starts with a second or two of “silence” (just the noise).
- Choose Light, Voice or Strong. Pro: select a noise-only region on the waveform and click “Learn noise from selection”.
- Listen, compare with the original, and download.
Questions
Why does the voice sound watery?
The reduction is too strong. Lower the strength or raise smoothing (Pro mode).
Can it remove music or other voices?
No — it targets steady noise like hiss, fans, hum and room tone.
